WTP is committed to quality and is certified under the ISO 9001:2008 standard. The International Organisation for Standardisation is a non-governmental organisation which has developed a series of international standards for quality management and quality assurance that have been adopted in more than 90 countries.
Service Quality
Quality service is enforced at every level of the organisation. Feedback is provided to team members and progress is shared across the platform in order to ensure that all programs perform in accordance with contracted standards.
Service Excellence program
WTP believes that a key indicator of service levels comes from direct responses provided by customers. Surveys are sent to insureds soliciting comments and a rating of key service components. WTP is committed to ensuring that needs are addressed and expectations are exceeded.
Regulations & Standards
• Privacy
WTP is compliant with all privacy legislation including the Canadian Privacy Information and Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), as well as the US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Code of Conduct
Employees subscribe to the WTP Code of Conduct which governs the moral, legal and ethical obligations of each staff member while in the employ of WTP.
Business Continuity
In order to maintain business processes without interruption, WTP has a plan in place to address the two key areas where continuity is essential: service delivery and access to technology. For Business Continuity, WTP contracts with an outside firm for an emergency location and back-up system. The plan is tested on a regular basis and has proved its effectiveness in a number of real crisis situations.
